banner有“横幅，横幅标语”的意思，英文解释为“a long piece of cloth on which something is written, often carried between two poles”，举个🌰：

观众挥动着横幅，又是叫喊又是欢呼。

Just now, the 20th CPC Central Committee held its first plenary session, and elected the new central leadership. I was re-elected as the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

plenary /ˈpliː.nər.i/ 表示“全体的，全体出席的”，英文解释为“A plenary meeting is one at which all the members of a group or organization are present, especially at a conference.”如：a plenary session of the UN Security Council 联合国安理会全体会议。

Comrade Zhao Leji and Comrade Wang Huning served the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the others were members of the Political Bureau of the 19th CPC Central Committee. They are all quite familiar to you.

ethnic /ˈeθ.nɪk/ 表示“民族的；种族的”，英文解释为“relating to a particular race of people”举个🌰：

1）表示“大步；阔步”，英文解释为“A stride is a long step which you take when you are walking or running.”举个🌰：

看到respect，经常有小伙伴会问，respect是不是写错了应该是aspect？这个说法在政府工作报告中必出现，其实没错，respect作名词，熟词僻义，也有“（事物的）方面，细节”的含义（a particular aspect or detail of sth），举个🌰：

This proposal differs from the last one in many important respects/one important respect.

本提案在很多重要的方面/在一个重要的方面与上一提案不同。

rejuvenation  /rɪˌdʒuːvəˈneɪʃn/ 表示“更新；复苏；复壮；回春作用”，英文解释为“the action or process of giving new energy or vigor to something.”

On the journey ahead, we should always keep an enterprising spirit. To build a modern socialist country in all respects has been the long cherished goal and dream of the Chinese nation. To make this happen, the Chinese people have offered sweat and toil.

enterprising /ˈen.tə.praɪ.zɪŋ/ 表示“有开创能力的，富于创业精神的，有进取心的，有魄力的”，英文解释为“good at thinking of and doing new and difficult things, especially things that will make money”举个🌰：

The business was started by a couple of enterprising young women.

这家公司是由几位富有开创精神的年轻女性创办的。

toil /tɔɪl/ 表示“（尤指体力上的）苦工，苦活”，英文解释为“hard work, especially work that makes you feel physically tired”举个🌰：
