China’s overall development objectives for the year 2035 are as follows:

经济实力、科技实力、综合国力大幅跃升，人均国内生产总值迈上新的大台阶，达到中等发达国家水平；

· Significantly increase economic strength, scientific and technological capabilities, and composite national strength; substantially grow the per capita GDP to be on par with that of a mid-level developed country

表示“合成的；混成的；复合的”，英文解释为“made of different parts or materials”

substantially /səbˈstæn.ʃəl.i/ 1）表示“大体上；基本上”，英文解释为“generally”举个🌰：

This model has leather seats, but the two cars are substantially the same.

这一型号有几个附加装置，但两款车大体上是一样的。

2）表示“在很大程度上”，英文解释为“to a large degree”举个🌰：

· Ensure that the people are leading better and happier lives; bring per capita disposable income to new heights; substantially grow the middle-income group as a share of the total population; guarantee equitable access to basic public services; ensure modern standards of living in rural areas; achieve long-term social stability; make more notable and substantive progress in promoting the people’s well-rounded development and prosperity for all

disposable /dɪˈspəʊ.zə.bəl/ 1）表示“可动用的；可自由支配的”，英文解释为“available for use”如：disposable assets/capital/resources 可支配资产/资本/资源。

2）表示“一次性的，用后可扔掉的”，英文解释为“A disposable product is intended to be thrown away after use.”如：disposable nappies 一次性尿布。

📍equitable表示“公平合理的；公正的”，英文解释为“fair and reasonable; treating everyone in an equal way”

类似的还有：

📍 fair表示“公平的；公正的”，英文解释为“Something or someone that is fair is reasonable, right, and just.”

📍 just作形容词，表示“公正的；正义的；正当的；合理的”，英文解释为“that most people consider to be morally fair and reasonable”，如：a just decision/law/society 公正的决定/法律/社会；

📍 impartial表示“公正的；不偏不倚的；中立的”，英文解释为“Someone who is impartial is not directly involved in a particular situation, and is therefore able to give a fair opinion or decision about it.”如：an impartial inquiry 公正的调查。

📍 unbiased表示“无偏见的；公正的”，英文解释为“If you describe someone or something as unbiased, you mean they are fair and not likely to support one particular person or group involved in something.”如：unbiased advice 客观的忠告。

表示“显要的；显著的；值得注意的”，英文解释为“important and deserving attention, because of being very good or interesting”如：a notable collection of rare plants 一批引人注目的奇花异草。

substantive /səbˈstæn.tɪv/ 表示“重要的；严肃的；实质性的，本质的”，英文解释为“important, serious, or related to real facts”举个🌰：

Substantive research on the subject needs to be carried out.

需要针对这一课题开展实质性的研究。

广泛形成绿色生产生活方式，碳排放达峰后稳中有降，生态环境根本好转，美丽中国目标基本实现；

· Broadly establish eco-friendly ways of work and life; steadily lower carbon emissions after reaching a peak; fundamentally improve the environment; largely accomplish the goal of building a Beautiful China

可以作名词，也可以作动词，表示“（达到）峰值”，英文解释为“When something peaks, it reaches its highest value or its highest level.”举个🌰：

Temperatures have peaked at over 90 degrees.

温度已达到峰值，超过了90度。

国家安全体系和能力全面加强，基本实现国防和军队现代化。

· Comprehensively strengthen the national security system and national security capabilities; achieve basic modernization of national defense and the armed forces

在基本实现现代化的基础上，我们要继续奋斗，到本世纪中叶，把我国建设成为综合国力和国际影响力领先的社会主义现代化强国。

· Make breakthroughs in promoting high-quality economic development; achieve greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology; make major progress in creating a new pattern of development and building a modernized economy

改革开放迈出新步伐，国家治理体系和治理能力现代化深入推进，社会主义市场经济体制更加完善，更高水平开放型经济新体制基本形成；

· Make new strides in reform and opening up; make further progress in modernizing China’s system and capacity for governance; further improve the socialist market economy; put in place new systems for a higher-standard open economy

1）表示“大步；阔步”，英文解释为“A stride is a long step which you take when you are walking or running.”举个🌰：

She attributes her record-breaking speed to the length of her stride.

她认为她的速度之所以能打破纪录是因为步幅大。

2）表示“进展，进步”，英文解释为“an important positive development”举个🌰：

The group has made strides to expand internationally.

这个集团在拓展国际市场方面取得了很大进展。

📍在庆祝中国共产党成立一百周年大会上的讲话中提到：（我们）正在意气风发向着全面建成社会主义现代化强国的第二个百年奋斗目标迈进 we are now marching in confident strides toward the second centenary goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects.

cohesion /koʊˈhiːʒn/表示“凝聚（力）；团结”，英文解释为“the situation when the members of a group or society are united”如：social/national cohesion 社会/国家凝聚力。

居民收入增长和经济增长基本同步，劳动报酬提高与劳动生产率提高基本同步，基本公共服务均等化水平明显提升，多层次社会保障体系更加健全；

· Ensure personal income grows basically in step with economic growth and pay rises in tandem with increases in productivity; ensure much more equitable access to basic public services; develop a better multi-tiered social security system

表示“协同地，联合地；同时”，英文解释为“at the same time；If two pieces of equipment, people, etc. are working in tandem, they are working together, especially well or closely.”举个🌰：

I want these two groups to work/operate in tandem on this project.
