During a recent press conference at an Adidas-sponsored event in Beijing, Harden went viral on Chinese social media for calling Morey “a liar”, saying he would never play on the team again.

Harden, who is seeking a trade after opting into the last year of his deal during the off season, had also apologised to China following a tweet by Morey, the then-general manager of the Houston Rockets.
