Responsibilities

• Establish deep collaborative relations with the academic communities across Asia.

• Build trust and strong partnership with the industry to address significant societal challenges (e.g., climate changes, sustainability, and health) through cutting-edge technologies.

• Attract and cultivate future talents through various programs with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion.

• Evaluate trends, design communication strategies and execution plan to promote awareness and interest, and amplify the impact of MSR Asia globally.

• Work closely and effectively with different internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years in a senior leadership role

• Passion for technologies

• Global view and working experience

• Strong business acumen and capability to drive significant social impact 

• Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese

• Superior influencing skills grounded in collaborative approaches for win-win outcomes

• Master’s degree in science, engineering or related technical area, or business management (Ph.D. in Computer Science is a plus.)

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. or master’s degree in molecular science related disciplines, including but not limited to, physics, (computational) chemistry, and biology.

The applicants should be fluent in spoken and written English. Applicants should demonstrate their capability in doing solid research in their field as evidenced by high quality publications or a track record of innovation. Good implementation skills and mathematical background are highly preferred. Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with other researchers. We are particularly interested in the candidates who can work across disciplinary boundaries.
