主讲人简介： 
Bernard Tilleman is a full Professor of Law, Dean of the Law Faculty and director of the Centre for Methodology of Law and the Institute of Contract Law. He teaches the introductory law course at Leuven and Kortrijk, contract law in Leuven, Kortrijk and Hasselt and corporate law in the specialized master at Brussels.

He was previously a guest professor at Lille 2 (1998-2003), ULG (1999-2003) and Radbout University (TPR Wisselleerstoel 2000), as well as being president of the Flemish (2005-2009) and Joint Nomination board (2007-2009) for Notary Public. He is president of one of the examination boards of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Tilleman studied law at Leuven (magna cum laude, Leuven 1988), Harvard (1989) and Hamburg (Max Planck Institute für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht, under the Sonderprogramm für Ausländische Jurists DAAD, 1990). He worked at the Secretariat of the Cabinet on the Prime Minister's Office (1990-1991) and in Brussels for the law firm Cleary-Gottlieb(1991-1993). He was admitted to the bar of New York in 1991. As a fellow of the FWO, he earned a doctorate based on corporate governance (Leuven, 1996), which was awarded the Emiel Van Dievoet price.
