Guilin, located in south China, is often regarded as "Paradise on Earth" in view of its fascinating natural beauty. It is famous for its picturesque Karst landscape, which the Li River cruise highlights, idyllic countryside, majestic rice terraces, and ethnic minorities. 

Discover the special Karst landscapes in Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. Relax on a boat cruise down the Li River meandering among gorgeous peaks. Cycle on an off-the-beaten-path country road and appreciate the rural scenery of grazing water buffalos, farmers working in their fields, and small villages with old buildings set among green hills.

 Guilin Arrival 

Please make your own way to Guilin Liangjiang Airport. When you arrive at Guilin airport, the local driver will pick you up from the exit gate by holding a welcome board with your name. 

Then you will be driven to a Guilin downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to freshen up or explore the Two River & Four Lakes areas on your own. (no English-speaking guide)

Overnight in Guilin 

Guilin-Longji Terraces

After breakfast, drive to the Longji Rice Terraces. A feast for the eyes, the extensive network of rice terraces has been cultivated by a number of ethnic minorities such as Zhuang nationality and Yao nationality from generation to generation. The large rice fields provide leisure hiking and some of China's most breathtaking vistas for travelers and are especially loved by many photographers. 

There are several minority villages dotted around this area, you will take a visit to Huangluo Yao Village which is home to more than 60 Red Yao families. Famous for their tradition of wearing long hair, there are over 60 women who have over one-meter-long hair. During the visit here, you will get a chance to enjoy long hair shows which are unique in this village. 

Move to Ping'an Zhuang Village for a quintessential experience in Longji - the most photogenic and spectacular views of the rice terraces with several ideal viewpoints. It is home to over 200 Zhuang minority people who live in traditional wooden houses. 

After the sightseeing, transfer back to your hotel.

Overnight in Guilin 

 Guilin-Yangshuo

Today is the highlight of your Guilin tour, as you will embark on a cruise down the picturesque Li River with the best scenery of Guilin, even China. 

Taking a Li River cruise is the best way to admire the beautiful scenery along the river with gorgeous karst peaks, traditional villages, farmers working in the fields, fishermen on bamboo rafts, etc.

Friendly Tips: The Li River Cruise takes around 4 hours, and you will be staying on the boat to enjoy the scenery for the time, so a 3-star boat as included would be adequate according to most tourists' experience. Besides, you are suggested to have a good breakfast at your hotel and take some snacks.

After the 4 hours cruise, you will disembark at Yangshuo. Follow your guide to explore the famous Yangshuo West Street. An over 1400 years old pedestrian street, West Street is famous for its antique architecture, tasty local snacks, cafes and bars with exotic styles, various craftwork shops, etc. 

It has become one of the most foreigners visited streets for combing an array of traditional folk and amazing international elements, then transfer to Yangshuo local hotel for overnight stay.

Yangshuo Cycling Tour

Today you will jump on a bike and cycle around the lovely countryside of Yangshuo. Just follow your guide to breathe the fresh air, ride through the limestone mountains towering on two sides, take in the charming scenery coming into your site, and get close contact with nature. During the 4-5 hours ride trip, you will visit the Big Banyan Tree, and Moon Hill.

Biking Route A: Ride from Yangshuo - Yulong River - Gongnong Bridge - Big Banyan Tree - Moon Hill - Yueliang Village - Fushansi - Yan Village - Tianjiahe - Aishan Village and then ride back to Yangshuo.

Biking Route B:  Ride from Yangshuo - Baisha Jinbao Crossroad - Yulong Bridge - Jiuxian Village - Xinglong Village - Zhaoyang Village - Yulong River - Gonglong Bridge - Big Banyan Tree - Moon Hill - Ten Mile Gallery and then ride back to West Street.

Finish the exciting morning, transfer back to Guilin, and continue to  Reed Flute Cave which looks like a magnificent underground palace. While stepping into the cave, you will be surrounded by all kinds of stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns, stalactite flowers, and curtains that were created by water erosion and carbonate deposition. 

Move on to Elephant Trunk Hill which was named after its shape and looks like an elephant sipping water. This is a small park with Puxian Pagoda on top of the hill, you can climb up to the pagoda to see the view of the Li River. The arch below the "elephant's trunk" has the beautiful name of Water Moon Cave, you can take some beautiful pictures here. Last, check into Guilin's local hotel.

Guilin Tour & Guilin Departure

Free on your own in the morning time. At the confirmed time (as per your flight), the driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Guilin airport.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel your reservation for some reasons

more than 10 days prior to departure date, the deposit would be fully refunded;

if you cancel 4 to 10 days prior to departure date, we'll keep 50% deposit as cancellation fee;

if you cancel 0 to 3 days prior to departure date, you'll NOT get a refund.

In case meet with severe weather that poses a risk to people's safety or any government restriction (due to the COVID-19 pandemic for example), JoyTravel could cancel the trip up to 1 day in advance, and the deposit would be fully refunded. Please note that we are NOT responsible for any flight cancellation fees. You should contact the airline company directly to deal with this issue.

山水漓江

     桂林精品深度五日游

D2 桂林-龙胜

龙脊梯田是桂林地区一个规模宏大的梯田群，层层叠叠的曲线非常秀美。这里坐落着几个少数民族古寨，居住着壮族、瑶族等少数民族。来龙脊梯田，多以徒步看景拍照为主，还可尝尝当地的农家菜，体验少数民族风情。

黄洛瑶寨位于龙脊景区境内，是龙脊十三寨中唯一的瑶族村寨，居住着清一色的红瑶族。自古红瑶妇女有储长发的传统习惯，全村60户人家中，头发长达一米以上的有60名，最长的达1.7米，她们的长发都是盘在头上的。获得“吉尼斯群体长发之最”，号称天下第一长发村。在这里可以看到黄洛瑶寨独有的长发舞表演。

平安壮寨位于广西桂林市龙胜县和平乡东部龙脊景区内，1990年开辟成龙脊景区游览观赏村寨，是体验壮族民俗风情的旅游村寨。壮族聚居，保留着别致的壮族服饰和古朴的生活习俗。寨内保持传统的麻栏式三层木楼，是桂北地区典型的高脚干栏式建筑。四周为梯田和生态林，环境幽雅，四季气候温和。

D3 桂林-阳朔

今天是您桂林之旅的亮点，您将登上一艘游船，游览风景如画的漓江。漓江的山水景观是桂林山水的精华所在，漓江的两岸山峰伟岸挺拔，形态万千，是桂林风光的精华。

下船后前往阳朔西街。宽仅8米，长1000多米，由本地产的带有槟榔花纹的大理石铺就而成，经历几百年的践踏，依然暗青油亮，路两旁是清代遗留下来的老式砖房，飞檐、青瓦、白墙、红窗的特色透露出南方小城镇独有的风韵和岭南建筑的质朴典雅。酒吧、餐厅、旅店的格局几乎都各不相同，充满异域情调，因往来外国人众多又有“洋人街”之名。

行程结束后入住阳朔的酒店。

D4 阳朔-桂林

早餐后开启您的阳朔自行车乡村游！在阳朔这个别具特色的小县城里，骑行是不可错过的一种旅游方式。租一辆自行车，从阳朔县城出发，途径遇龙河、工农桥、大榕树、月亮山等风景别致的小景点，沿途欣赏山川、河流、村落、呼吸自由新鲜的空气、记录远处田野间耕作的农家。。。骑行总共约4-5小时，途中可参观大榕树和月亮山景区。

大榕树，位于阳朔县的月亮山景区，是一棵千年古树，树围竟有七米多，高达十七米，枝繁叶茂，浓荫蔽天，所盖之地有一千多平方米，是桂林阳朔的一个著名景点。

月亮山是阳朔境内的奇景，它在高田乡凤楼村边，高达380多米。因为山顶是有一个贯穿的大洞，好像一轮皓月，高而明亮，所以人们叫它明月峰，俗称月亮山。

山头上有一个天然的大石拱，两面贯通，远看酷似天上明月高挂。从不同的角度变换观看，此洞形状也不断变化。如果是开着车赏月山，那个石拱的形状会从弯弯的上弦月，逐渐变成半月、圆月 ，继而又变成下弦月，十分奇妙。

令人兴奋的早晨，返回桂林，继续前往芦笛洞，它看起来像一座宏伟的地下宫殿。当你走进洞穴时，你会被各种各样的钟乳石、石笋、石柱、钟乳石花和由水侵蚀和碳酸盐沉积形成的窗帘所包围。

前往象鼻山（Elephant Trunk Hill），象鼻山因其形状像一头正在喝水的大象而得名。这是一个小公园，山顶上有蒲仙塔，你可以爬到宝塔上看漓江的景色。“象鼻”下面的拱门有一个美丽的名字叫水月洞，你可以在这里拍一些美丽的照片。最后，入住桂林本地酒店。

下午驱车返回桂林。

D5 离开桂林

早餐后，游览桂林市区最著名的两个景点。

早上自由活动。在确定的时间（根据您的航班），司机会从酒店接您，然后转机到桂林机场。
