Day 1. 

Phnom Penh Arrival

Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival, your driver will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the time is at your leisure.

Day 2. 

Phnom Penh City Tour

Start the day with a Tuk-tuk ride to visit the Silver Pagoda which is decorated with about 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. After that, tour the National Museum where you can see a large collection of Khmer history, arts, and architecture.

In the afternoon, head to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school that was used as a prison camp during the Khmer Rouge era. You can see all kinds of torture tools, photos, and cultural and historical materials here, silently telling a tragic history.

Then pay a visit to Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, once a concentration camp during the Khmer Rouge regime. There is a stupa, housing skulls excavated from tombs in memory of innocent souls.

Day 3. 

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap by Flight

Take a morning flight to Siem Reap! Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up on time and then head towards the deep jungle to visit Banteay Srei. It is famous for its gorgeous red colors and exquisite reliefs, and is known as "the Gem of Angkorian Art".

After your tour, you will be escorted to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 4. 

Angkor Wat Tour

Today, begin your exploration of the remains of the Khmer Empire that once ruled much of Southeast Asia. Angkor served as the seat of the empire.

In the morning, visit the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom. First on the itinerary is Ta Prohm Temple. Giant silk-cotton trees and strangled figs grow over, around, and through the ancient stone blocks. The temple would make you feel as if you are in an adventure movie set.

Then, visit Banteay Kdei, a 12th-century temple made famous by the movie Tomb Raider. Continue to Victory Gate, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Palace, and Baphuon Temple.

Bayon Temple, the main attraction for us, is the center of Angkor Thom. Here you can admire the reliefs of many smiling faces and nearly 40 Gothic stupas.

In the afternoon, head to visit Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Angkor Wat possesses some of the longest and most intricate stone carvings. Spend the afternoon fully exploring the passages, levels, and chambers that once housed many treasures of the flourishing kingdom.

Day 5. 

Siem Reap Departure

Optional: Kulen elephant join-in tour

You could arrange today's tour with the help of a tour guide or hotel (Which is optional, at your own expense). In the morning, the driver will send you to a specific gathering place to take a shuttle bus to the Kulen Elephant Forest.

Once at the reserve, you will spend time learning about elephants as you follow them through their natural habitat, observing their relationships and behaviors. Walk with them into the forest, and witness how they spend their time.

At noon, retire to base camp and enjoy a traditional meal before heading back to Siem Reap. Then you can wander back to the hotel by yourself.

*Recommended Items: sports shoes, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, mosquito spray, and an outfit that can get dirty.

Or you can just enjoy your leisure time in the hotel until the driver transfers you to the airport. Wish you have a nice trip home!

② We take CNY 2,000 as a deposit when you sign up.

③ Full trip fee needs to be paid 21 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel your reservation for some reasons

more than 14 days prior to the departure date, the deposit would be fully refunded;

if you cancel 7 to 14 days prior to the departure date, we'll keep a deposit of CNY2,000 as a cancellation fee;

if you cancel 0 to 7 days prior to the departure date, you'll NOT get a refund.

In case meet with severe weather that poses a risk to people's safety or any government restriction, JoyTravel could cancel the trip up to 1 day in advance, and the trip fee would be fully refunded. Please note that we are NOT responsible for any flight cancellation fees. You should contact the airline company directly to deal with this issue.
