Today,  AnyShanghai will show you how to get on the subway with just your phone to avoid the inconvenience of buying a ticket or carrying a MetroCard (and put an end to all the mini heart-attacks from misplacing them).

Metro 大都会

Metro 大都会 is an APP that allows you to enter the subway by simply scanning a QR-code. If you don't have Metro 大都会 yet, you can download it by long-pressing the QR-code below:

After the download, here's how you can do:

1. Click on "My" to log in or register:

2. We recommend you use your Alipay account to log in, so you can pay the money by Alipay directly:

3. Link a mobile number:

4. Bind a bank card or Alipay account as a payment option to activate the function:

5. Remember to turn on your Bluetooth when using the app:

6. You will be able to enter the station by scanning the code every time you take metros:

Use your iPhone as a metro card

1. Open the Wallet app and press the "+" symbol and select "Shanghai transit card":

2. You can recharge your virtual card with your bank card:

* For now, this function is only available in Shanghai and Beijing.
