Maison Karak is a brand for the whole family. It offers colorful and yet chic clothing for women and kids matching accessories also for men.

It’s limited edition to offer exclusive designs but also to avoid large stocks and waste. Supplies are sourced in China and production is located in Shanghai. Every accessory is handmade and therefore unique.

Maud Roubeaud, the designer, comes from France. She’s a self taught and started the brand less than two years ago in Argentina. It’s available in China only since a few weeks. She mixes all the influences she gets from the places she’s lived in and the travels she’s made.

The collection is designed for women who are looking for more colorful outfits to stand out. Skirts are the core of the collection with the iconic tulip midi skirt : Billie and a more 60’s inspired mini trapeze skirt : Ella. All skirts are high-waist so there is a crop top to match with for a full outfit or to wear casually with jeans or shorts. Headband is the perfect matching accessory, it will enhance any look. Kids can wear the matching clothes with their mums and men can match with a simple bow-tie on happy occasions. Designs are elegant, certainly with a French touch.

The fabric used, called wax, is mostly known and used in Africa but it’s more and more popular in France in ready-to-wear industry as well as haute couture collections. It’s a cotton cloth and the wax was originally part of the manufacturing process but you actually cannot feel it when touching the fabric.
