山一学院出品 | 涂琳导演短片《口腔溃疡》入围75届戛纳电影节
2022年第75届戛纳电影节影评人周单元competition of the 61st Semaine de la Critique竞赛片单今日正式公布，2021山一学院出品、涂琳导演的短片《口腔溃疡》(CANKER)成功入围。
电影节评价这部短片：“这是一部‘点彩派’式却精准的电影，以细微的迹象与奥秘邀人逐渐深入一种常见而世界性的体验。”
影片由涂琳导演，佘艾芳主演，讲述了一个年轻的网红女孩 33 在网络与现实中的双面生活。
影片兼具当代议题性与影像形式的创新性，有着独特的私人影像美学特质。以饮食辛辣的四川成都为地域背景，涂琳将摄影机对准了一个以直播为主要工作的网红女孩。在后互联网时代的语境下，利用“口腔溃疡”这种普遍又为人困扰的疾病，通过4:3的画面比例与流动的剪辑节奏，在一种网络虚境中投射出当代年轻女性的某种典型生存状况，以及暗藏在日常生活之下的无形症结。评委评价这部短片“你自信地向观众展现出网红女主角彼此割裂的两面——一面是闪耀的、绚丽的浮华世界，一面是悲伤、孤寂的个人世界。你一如既往地在短片里展现了你对恐怖和奇幻元素的爱，让片子呈现出独特的气质”。
导演 涂琳
毕业于北京大学新闻与传播学院和艺术学院，美国西北大学影视戏剧写作研究生项目。导演处女作，女性惊悚短片《运动会》入围锡切斯国际奇幻电影节等超过35个国际电影节。短片《游乐场》入围华语青年电影周短片展映单元。长片电影项目《苏荔》和《北海公园》入选富川国际奇幻电影节、上海国际电影节、华语青年电影周、海南岛国际电影节、山一国际女性电影展的创投市场，同时也是富川国际奇幻电影节训练营2020年成员。
《口腔溃疡》的诞生，由2021年7月入围“山一女导演短片扶植计划”而来。此计划致力于扶持国内青年女性导演短片创作，从创意、剧本、制作、发行全流程孵化支持，同时提供拍摄资金及相关资源帮助。
《口腔溃疡》《飞蚊症》《最后的女猎人》《蝶女》《不完美的小仓》是山一学院2021年携手英国文化教育协会所孵化完成的5部电影短片，这组影片将于今年秋季在英国邂逅电影节（Encounters film festival）进行英国首映。

The 61st Semaine de la Critique’s selection is officially announced today. CANKER, a film produced by the ONE’S YOUNG, has been selected for the Short Film Competition at the 61st SEMAINE DE LA CRITIQUE Cannes Film Festival 2022.
COMMENT：This is a pointillist yet precise film, relying on suggestions, mystery to dive deeper into a common and universal experience.
Directed by Tu Lin, starring She Aifang, the film CANKER follows the double life of a young Influencer named 33, both online and in reality.
The film is contemporary in its subject matter and innovative in its visual form. Set in Sichuan province where spicy cuisine is renowned, it focuses on a young girl who has to maintain her identity as a flashy Influencer while suffering from canker sores in real life. By utilizing the 4:3 format, together with a fluid style of editing, the film reveals contemporary young women’s quintessential predicament in the virtual world as well as the intangible problems hidden underneath the daily life. Jury said about this film: In telling us the story of a young influencer, you have confidently showed us the disconnect between a glitzy and bright façade and the sadness and isolation of her private life. You have also infused your film with your love of horror and fantasy, giving it an affecting and very original quality.
Lin is a writer/director, graduated from Peking University and Northwestern University’s Writing for the Screen and Stage. Her directing debut, Sports Day, was screened at Sitges Film Festival, Encounters Film Festival, and distributed by ALTER. Her second short film Playground was screened by China Youth Film Week. Her feature projects SULI and Beihai Park have been selected by project markets of BIFAN, Shanghai International Film Festival, China Youth Film Week, Hainan IFF, and The ONE International Women's Film Festival. A BIFAN Fantastic Film School 2020 alumni.
The production of Tu Lin’s CANKER was made possible through the "2021 ONE Short Film Project for Female Directors". Dedicated to the empowerment of emerging women filmmakers in China, this project provides financial and resource support through the entire process of filmmaking, including story and script development, production, distribution, etc.
CANKER, FLOATERS, NASI, DIENU and DEAR CANG are the five short films supported by ONE’S YOUNG in collaboration with the British Council in 2021. The UK premiere is scheduled in this autumn at the Encounters film festival.
