Chaka Lake: 

Nominated by the national tourist geography magazine as one of the 55 places to go. Take a small train to explore the depths of Chaka Salt Lake and leave some fabulous photos in the Mirror of Sky Square Experience Area.  

Mati Temple:

One of the top three Hexi Buddhism grottoes in China, where can enjoy the specatcular views of Qilian Mountain and explore the Yugu culture.

Rainbow Mountain: 

The world's Top ten magical geographical wonders. It is the beat place for tourism, painting, photography and science education.

Mogao Grottoes: 

The best known of the Chinese Buddhist grottoes and along with Luoyang Longmen Grottoes and Yungang Grottoes in Datong, are among the three famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China.

Day1 Xining Arrival 

• Altitude: 2261m

• Transport: Car

• Accommodation: In Xining

Today your flight will touch down in Xining. Upon arrival, be met and bring you to visit Ta'er monastery (Kumbum Monastery), the most populous monks outside of Tibet. You will stay at Thangka Sunning Terrace that is one of a good place to view the monastery and surrounding scenery. Inside the monastery, apart from magnificent Buddha stupas and wall paintings, prayer wheels are also the must-see spot. The whole monastery is surrounded by wheels, walk along the corridor, rotate the wheels and pray for chasing away the troubles.

Day2 Xining-Chaka (B)

• Transport: Car

• Accommodation: In Chaka

Enjoy the magnificent scenery of Qinghai Lake in the morning, which is the largest inland salt water lake in China. It is no exaggeration to say that Qinghai Lake is a miracle that is endowed by a deity. Outside, He encircled the lake with four continuous mountains and extends broad grassland at the foot of them. After that, we will drive to Chaka for an overnight stay.

Day3 Chaka-Xining-Zhangye (B)

• Altitude: 1483m

• Transport: Car&Train

• Accommodation: In Zhangye

Explore Chaka Salt Lake, it is the largest saline in Qinghai Province, Chaka Salt Lake means "the sea of salt"  in Mongolian. It lies in the centre of Qaidam Basin, which was nominated by the national tourist geography magazine as one of the 55 places to go. Then back to Xining and catch the express train to Zhangye.

Day4 Zhangye (B)

• Altitude: 1483m

• Transport: Car

• Accommodation: In Kaoshan Tent

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to visit the Giant Buddha Temple, which is the important place of the Silk Road. the Giant Buddha Temple is the largest architectural relic in Gansu Province of the Western Xia (1038-1227) period. China's largest reclining Buddha is well preserved in this temple. then proceed the tour to Mati Temple where were built in Jin Dynasty. A series of horse shoe prints are visible in Grotto 9, which are said to be left by a heaven horse. As a result, the temple was named for the horseshoe prints left by the legendary heaven horse, which become the treasure of the temple. After the visiting, spend the night at Kaoshan Tent.

Day5 Zhangye-Jiayuguan (B)

• Altitude: 1700m

• Transport: Car

• Accommodation: In Jiayuguan

Meet the guide and driver at the hotel, then we will head to the splendid Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park, which is the most typical arid area of northern China. Ribbons of reds, oranges and yellows slice through the rock, to create a rainbow vista contained only by the contours of the jagged mountain peaks. so many people also call it "Rainbow Mountain". Continue the tour to Binggou Danxia, which is the most significant geological and geomorphic relic of the window lattice palace in China, mainly composed of sandstone geomorphic relic landscape. After visiting, we will drive to Jiayuguan for overnight stay.

Day6 Jiayuguan-Dunhuang (B) 

• Altitude: 1139m

• Transport: Car

• Accommodation: In Dunhuang

In the morning, we will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to visit the Jiayuguan pass. This Ming Dynasty fort guards the strategic Jiayuguan pass, at the western end of the Great Wall – this was the last section built by the Ming Dynasty. you will explore the Great Wall Museum, which was opened to the public in October 1989 and it is the first one to exhibit the Great Wall culture in a comprehensive and systematic way. Afterwards, we will drive all the way to the next stop Dunhuang.

Day7 Dunhuang (B)

• Altitude: 1139m

• Transport: Car

• Accommodation: In Dunhuang

The journey will begin from the Mogao Grottoes, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the great artistic and religious wonders of the world and it is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art. Following a lunch in local restaurants, then we will head to visit the Echoing Sand Mountaion&Crescent Lake. it is famous for the constant sound of the moving sand. and the Crescent Lake, The lake's name derives from the crescent moon shape taken by the pool of spring water between two large sand dunes. In the evening, you will be visiting Shazhou Night Market. the most bustling place of Dunhuang at night, taste the localcuisine and buy some souvenirs for your family and friends. 

Day8 Dunhuang Departure (B)

• Altitude: 1139m

• Transport: Car

• No Accommodation

Free time in the morning, you can explore Dunhuang Museum on your own if you are interested. 

We will arrange the airport transfer according to your flight schedule, wish you have a pleasant journey home.

甘青  西北之旅

抵达西宁

景点：塔尔寺

早餐后各位将搭乘航班前往西宁，抵达后，我们将去往藏传佛教的活动中心—塔尔寺，酥油花、壁画和堆绣被誉为“塔尔寺艺术三绝”，另外寺内还珍藏了许多佛教典籍和历史、文学、哲学、医药、立法等方面的学术专著。每年举行的佛事活动“四大法会”，更是热闹非凡。 塔尔寺的酥油花雕塑也是栩栩如生，远近闻名。

西宁—青海湖—茶卡

景点：青海湖

酒店早餐后，今天我们将游览美丽而又神圣的青海湖，青海湖，藏语名为“措温布”（意为“青色的海”）。位于青藏高原东北部、青海省境内，中国最大的内陆湖、咸水湖。湖水是那么的清澈，那么的蓝，好似镶嵌在草原上的一面大镜子。远处的朵朵白云飘浮在湛蓝的湖面上，四周连绵不断的群山，形成了一幅美丽的图画。游览后，乘车前往茶卡，入住酒店休息。

茶卡—西宁—张掖

景点：茶卡盐湖

早上各位将驱车前往天空之境—茶卡盐湖，进入到盐湖景区，便看见了尽是白茫茫的一片，虽然是夏季，但是给人的感觉却像是冬季里那银装素裹的雪地，令人惊叹。这是众多的盐结晶，不远处还有几座巨大的盐山，在蓝天白云下，这个地方出奇的洁白，犹如将一桶白色的染料倾倒在这里的地上，放眼望去只剩地上的白与天上的蓝。远远望去便看见一片蓝色，那就是茶卡盐湖了，这里真的是太美了，远望，是朦朦胧胧的山峦，连绵不断，若隐若现；近看则是白色胜雪，苍茫一片。看着天空中飞翔的鸟儿，看天空中白云悠悠，看着辽阔的盐湖景区，在蓝天的映衬之下，宛如仙境般美丽。

游览后，下午我们将返回西宁，搭乘动车前往下一站张掖。抵达后，入住酒店休息。

游览张掖

景点：马蹄寺，大佛寺

今天各位将游览集石窟艺术、祁连山风光和藏族风情于一体的马蹄寺。石窟始建于北凉，由胜果寺、普光寺、千佛洞、金塔寺、上、中、下观音洞七处组成，共有70余处窟龛。马蹄寺石窟是一规模宏大的石窟群体。它包括七个小石窟群，迤逦近三十公里，是国家级文物保护单位。民间传说：天马下凡时一蹄落在了这里的一块岩石上，踩下了一只蹄印，寺院由此而得名。之后返回市区，前往，丝绸之路上的一处重要古迹，也是历史文化名城金张掖的标志性建筑—大佛寺，这里保存有全国最大的西夏佛教殿堂——大佛殿、最大的室内木胎泥塑卧佛和最完整的初刻初印本《永乐北藏》，是集建筑、雕塑、壁画、雕刻、经籍和文物为一体的佛教艺术博物馆。

张掖—嘉峪关

景点：张掖丹霞地质公园

早上各位将乘车前往张掖丹霞地质公园，欣赏七彩丹霞美丽的日落，奇观形成于200万年前，位于张掖市临泽、肃南县境内，面积约510多平方千米，仅次于中国最大的赤水丹霞。她是中国发育最大最好、地貌造型最丰富的地区之一，特别是窗棂式、宫殿式丹霞地貌，是丹霞地貌中的精品。彩色丘陵色彩之缤纷、面积之大冠绝全国。游览后，车赴嘉峪关，入住酒店休息。

嘉峪关—敦煌

景点：嘉峪关城楼，长城博物馆，悬臂长城

早餐后，将在导游的带领下参观嘉峪关城楼，从初建到筑成一座完整的关隘，是明代长城沿线九镇所辖千余个关隘中最雄险的一座，至今保存完好。因地势险要，建筑雄伟而得有“天下雄关”、“连陲锁阴”之称。从城楼出来，便来到了长城博物馆，嘉峪关长城博物馆是我国第一座以长城历史文化为专题的博物馆。主体建筑外形呈烽火台式，恰似烽燧相望，长城相连。内设7个展厅，以“伟大的长城”基本陈列为主体，分“春秋、战国长城”，“秦、汉长城”，“北魏、隋、唐、辽、金长城”，“明长城”四部分，集中国史学界、文物考古界半个多世纪以来的长城研究成果于一体，大家可以在短时间内对中国长城在时间、空间演化上有一个整体、直观的了解。接着我们将去往万里长城注入嘉峪关时的最后一条长城—悬臂长城，因筑于约四十五度的山脊之上，形似凌空倒挂，因而得名“悬臂长城”。沿漫道而上，虽只有四百多级台阶，但也足以使人心生踟蹰，然而只要登上山顶，放眼望去，关外大漠的荒凉尽收眼底，仅有极少的片片绿洲点缀其中。下午车赴敦煌。

敦煌一日游

景点：莫高窟，鸣沙山月牙泉，沙洲夜市

早餐后前往莫高窟参观，先观赏莫高窟的4D电影，了解莫高窟的历史以及电子成像的精美壁画。俗称千佛洞，坐落在河西走廊西端的敦煌。它始建于十六国的前秦时期，历经十六国、北朝、隋、唐、五代、西夏、元等历代的兴建，形成巨大的规模，有洞窟735个，壁画4.5万平方米、泥质彩塑2415尊，是世界上现存规模最大、内容最丰富的佛教艺术地。下午参观鸣沙山月牙泉，晋代始称鸣沙山，其山东西长40余公里，南北宽约20公里，主峰海拔1715米。峰恋危峭，山脊如刃，经缩复初；人乘沙流，有鼓角之声，轻若丝竹，重若雷鸣，此即“沙岭晴鸣”。月牙泉处于鸣沙山环抱之中，其形酷似一弯新月而得名。古称沙井，又名药泉，一度讹传渥洼池，清代始称月牙泉。水质甘冽，澄清如镜，绵历古今，沙不进泉，水不浊涸。铁鱼鼓浪，星草含芒，水静印月，荟萃一方，故称“月泉晓澈”。晚餐后在沙洲夜市散步，欣赏琳琅满目的丝路特色小商品。
