继续做业务,还是创业?

很多人做业务做的久了,就会产生“自己出去闯一闯”的想法,而且别惊讶,这类人不在少数。


Many of us wanna get changed from a salesman to a SOHO after years of working in foreign trade business. And, don't be surprised. There're quite a few of those who got such ideas suddenly. 


有的人基础条件已经相当成熟,比如稳定的客户资源,比如可靠的供货资源。


Some of these guys just get themselves well equipped with enough source, such as stable customers and trustable suppliers. 


而有的人只是头脑一热,就开始去做了,把这个事情想得极为简单,开个离岸账户,注册个公司,就开始了SOHO生涯。


Well, some guys set up the company and account just on the spur of the moment.


其实,这是需要一定的基础条件的,并不是每个人都可以这么做。


Actually, it will require us to be equipped with certain basis. Not all of us can lead a life like this. 


首当其气冲的就是订单与货源,如果你脱离平台,没有自主开发客户的能力,或者没有几家好的货源,那么你的创业生涯并不会就此一帆风顺,必会经受很多挫折。


The first factor for this is orders and suppliers. If you haven't got yourselves any paid platforms or some good suppliers, you're gonna suffer a lot, struggling with your business development in the days to come.


那我们什么时候才可以出来自己做生意?


So when will be the right time for setting up our own business? 


该不该继续做原来公司的产品?


Is it ok to continue the business with same products of the companies we ever worked in?


 如上所述,时机成熟时,你该有稳定的订单或客户,以及可靠的供应商,或者你有稳定的供应商后盾,但是自己有能力快速开发客户。


As it is mentioned above, when the right time comes, you ought to be with stable orders or customers and trustable suppliers. 


Or you don't have stable customers, but you are very skilled in business development, supported by good suppliers.


至于产品选择,全世界那么多做相同产品生意的公司,你选择之前的产品又有何不妥?


Above targetting your products, there're ten thousands of companies all over the world, who deal with orders and business with similar or same products, any problems?


并且,熟知的产品能够帮助你快速拿到订单,使你顺利的度过新公司的艰难初期,使你的公司快速成长。


What's more, it will be of great help for getting orders by selling known products, which will get you out of the tough days smoothly at the early beginning of the new company, and help your company grow quickly.  


此外,你必须做好与供应商谈判的准备。


Besides, you got to be ready for the negotiation with the suppliers.


在公司,你可能只需要和老板确认各种细节,价格,最小订货量,付款方式等等。


Working in companies, you may only need to talk every detail with your boss, such as price, MOQ, payment terms, etc.


但如果你自己开始做生意,就要具体的和供应商谈这些东西了,这并不简单。


But if you set up your own business, you would have to talk all of these with your suppliers. 

And this is not easy.


如果你的公司没有进出口权,还要去找第三方公司出口,这也是需要自己解决的事情。


And if the company you registered is not with import and export license, you would have to export products via third-party companies, all by yourself.


如果你觉得自己可以,那就去做,不要迟疑。


If you believe that you can make it, just do it without any hesitation.


如果条件不足 ,冷静一下,继续努力,以后再做不迟。


If you cannot meet the certain factors, calm down and keep going, it's never too late to set up this matter.


不要盲目的做任何事情。


Don't do anything blindly.
