Short-term visa applicants were denied AGAIN!

AnyVisa 2020-08-28

What happened?

A few days ago, one visa refusal from the Chinese embassy in South Korea shocked and confused AnyVisa and our clients.

AnyVisa has worked to help our clients (one from the US and the other from Lithuania) apply for a Business visa to China from South Korea. Both of them used to hold a Business visa and wanted to apply again from Korea. However, they have both been rejected because they don't have a Korean residence permit!

In the meantime, a similar situation happened to another AnyVisa client entering Chinese mainland from Hong Kong.

How to deal with this issue?

There is no official explanation from the government, hence if you want to apply for a short term visa (e.g. Business visa or a Tourist visa), you may need to go back to your home country.

If you have encounter any similar situations above or want to report any recent visa issues, please contact AnyVisa or leave comments below.

What are other suggestions?

By the way, AnyVisa seriously suggests that if you are holding a Business visa or a Tourist visa, please do not do business or freelance work in China. It is illegal and forbidden!

The multiple-entry visa: entrepreneur visa or work visa with your own company registration will be a good solution. For more info, contact AnyVisa advisor Lisa.
