This is our 6th Oct holiday retreat in our beloved Anji Mountains since 2018. It has become a ritual for us... we visit the mountain in its autumn beauty, we taste the fruits of hard work, we swim in clean mountain water, we immerse ourselves in fresh autumn light, we awe at the scaredness of the mountains and as we become at one with nature.

Our home for the retreats is at a heaven part of Anji mountain...far away from noise and nestled in massive lush bamboo forrest. It's located at top of a mountain (800m altitude) and in the middle of nowhere (only mountains around us)- expect to be greeted by mesmerizing mountains, endless bamboo forests, a sky full of stars and most humble villagers.

Since 2018 May we have brought over 600 yogis to this place for retreats.. Past retreat participants enjoyed their experience there so much and some of them even call it a ‘paradise’...This is a perfect place for a yoga retreat and really Yoga for Life's all time favorite spot!

① The Location

Welcome to 'heavenly' Anji mountains

欢迎来到“天堂”安吉大竹海


Anji is located in Huzhou, Zhejiang province. It is about 4.5 hours drive away from Shanghai and is at the northwest part of Zhejiang province. The whole Anji town is 75% covered with mesmerizing bamboo forest containing over 40 different species of bamboo (considered to be the most worldwide). It has been designated a pilot county for tourism, ecological and green building construction. 


我们的瑜伽正念旅修要去到以广袤无际的竹海,森林覆盖率75%、被授予“联合国人居奖”著称的浙江安吉。安吉竹海是全世界竹子种类最丰富的地方,美丽的安吉主要以旅游业,开发环保,绿色产品著名。


To get to our retreat house we need to drive around mountain after mountain for about 1 hour and at the top of the mountain is our home.  


我们瑜伽团队将住在安吉天池山上一个僻静的竹海深处民宿(我们周围只有群山!)到达这个美丽的地方需要开1个多小时的车路,沿途的风景会让你觉得很值!

Farm to table home grown organic vegetarian meals prepared by the most humble and kind guesthouse owner. There is no set menu, we eat whatever that's grown by the host and seasonal! 


朴实,勤劳,善良的民宿主人不打任何农药的新鲜蔬菜, 我们每顿饭都是这些新鲜蔬菜做的美味素食为主,我们的旅修没有固定的菜单,都是尽量吃自家种的最时令的蔬菜!

Day 1 第一天


07:00 | Meet infront of the Kunlun Hotel Jingan (250 Huashan Road) for our private van  在静安昆仑大酒店(华山路250号)门口集合,旅行社包车去安吉

11:45 | Arrive at Anji and Lunch (estimated time, first day of the holiday we may encounter traffic) 抵达安吉用午餐(预估时间, 国庆的第一天可能堵车)

13:30-16:00 | Silent nature walk & Meditation in nature (allow your breath and your steps to become one) 大自然静走,冥想。让你的步伐和呼吸合二为一。

16:00-16:30 | Tea/snack time 小吃茶水时间

16:30-19:00 | Setting intention for the retreat + Get out of your head, be in your body yoga flow  为旅修设主旨, 回到你的身体感官流瑜伽

19:00 | Silent Dinner 止语晚餐

③ The Packing List

Equipment to bring 需要带的装备:

-       Passport/ID (very important)身份证件

-       Yoga mat (very important)  瑜伽垫

-       A notebook and pen (a must!). 一个笔记本和一只笔 (一定要带!)

-       Comfortable clothes for Yoga practice 练瑜伽的舒适衣服

-       Comfortable shoes for walking/hiking, bring water proof and non slippery shoes if it's going to rain. 舒适的方便徒步的鞋子,如果下雨的话请带上防水防滑的鞋子。

-        Sunscreen/hat/sunglasses 防晒霜/帽子/太阳镜

-        Warm clothes (temperature is 5 degree lower in the mountains). 山里早晚清凉(气温要比城市低5度),带上暖合的衣物。

-        Own toothbrush and paste (more environmental friendly) 自带牙膏牙刷,环保。

-        Drinking bottle to refill water 自带喝水的瓶子

-        Mosquito Repellent 防蚊花露水

-       We provide green tea, goji berry tea and lemon ginger tea at the retreat. If you are a coffee drinker please bring your own coffee.我们此次旅修会提供安吉白茶,枸杞茶,柠檬姜茶给大家喝,如果你平时喝咖啡请自带咖啡哦。

-       Tobacco and alcohol consumption is not recommended at the retreat. 这次旅修不建议学员饮用酒精类饮料/吸烟。

-      We provide Chinese vegetarian meals ( some are seasonal home grown vegetables and there are organic eggs too). Food is quite tasty there. Although we understand we cannot meet everyone’s food requirement… If you can't go without your favourite treats then feel free to bring them. 我们每天吃的饭菜基本都是农家自种自产的有机蔬菜(还有土鸡蛋)。饭菜还是蛮可口的。但是我们明白我们无法做到满足所有人的口味需求…如果你担心餐饮不合口的话请自带一些你爱吃的健康零嘴。

-      Please bring medicine if you normally get car sickness 你如果晕车的话请自带晕车药 。

④ The Details

重要提醒


During designated meal times, we will be observing Noble Silence. This means practicing mindful eating, where talking and the use of cellphones are not encouraged.  


在指定的用餐时间,我们将保持神圣的沉默。这意味着我们要练习正念止语用餐,不推荐讲话和使用手机。



If you are new to practicing Noble Silence, you can gently observe your breath entering in and going out of your nostril. Observe your body sensations (e.g. eating, walking, etc.) when you are silent, this is to help take your attention away from a busy mind.   


如果你对内观还不是很熟悉,你可以观察你的呼吸是怎样从鼻腔进出,或者你还可以观察身上细微的感觉,比如手指脚趾的感觉,走路吃饭的感觉。这些都是帮助你把意识从繁忙的思绪中带离出来。


Our yoga classes will be adjusted by the instructor based on the level of the group as a whole. All schedules are subject to change based on local weather and any other conditions that may occur.  


我们的瑜伽课程安排会根据每个组里人群的需要进行变更,所有的行程都会跟着当地天气或者其它因素而变更。


During free time, you may choose to stay silent in your room, practice meditation, or explore the surrounding areas on your own. All our activities, aside from yoga, are not complusory. 


自由时间,你可以选择自己探索周遭大自然,或者你可以选择在自己房间或者瑜伽房静坐冥想.

What Does My Package Include?

a) Transportation to and from Shanghai (private van) as well as driver's daily allowance

b) Vegetarian Meals (Vegan upon request) as listed on the schedule

c) Guiding & Coaching

e) *Other personal expenses are not included (e.g. tourists attraction entrance fees etc)

Cancellation Policy 

取消政策

Due to high demand of the retreat and we have limited spots available, we will apply below cancellation policy 我们旅修的需求比较大,每趟旅修座位有限,我们采用以下取消政策。


1) Cancellations made more than 7 days before the trip will receive a 50% refund. 离旅修开始还有7天前取消行程,可以得到50%的退款.

2) Cancellations made 4-7 days before the trip will receive a 20% refund. 离旅修开始还有4-7天前取消行程,可以得到20%的退款.

3) Cancellations made within 4 days before the trip will receive no refund. 离旅修开始只有4天前取消行程,不予退款.


**These retreats will only be held if 7 or more people sign up. If we don't get enough participants we will notify you one week beforehand and full refund will be given back to you.  这个旅修是 7个人报名成团,如果人数不够我们会提前一周通知你,并且全额退款。


** Please note that your booking is confirmed when full payment is made. Seats are limited, if you are unable to join the retreat you can transfer your spot to your friend. Please kindly note that you can't reschedule to another retreat.  我们收到全款后会帮你锁定位置。名额有限,报名成功后不退,不延,可自行转让.


⑥Your Retreat Facilitator Mandy 静修导师 


Mandy is one of the few certified Forrest Yoga Teachers in China. She is also trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vipassana Meditation and Zen tradition.  She is a RYS 500 hours teacher and a dedicated Zen practitioner(6 years of training in Vipassana and Zen Meditation).


Mandy是中国仅有的几位被认证过的 Forrest Yoga 老师之一。她在Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vipassana(内观) 还有禅宗的领域都接受过系统深入的培训。Mandy是RYS 认证的500小时瑜伽导师,Mandy 还是一位虔诚的禅宗练习者, 接受内观还有禅宗冥想培训已有6年。



After experiencing the healing power of yoga against high work stress from her previous jobs, as well as her own depression/anxiety/trauma, her passion in life is to teach, share and help others heal (and transform). Mandy teaches with love, warmth, empathy, intuition, familiarity and authenticity. At her class, she mirrors her students, feeling what they feel and tailors an experience unique to each of them based on her own insights into being.

Mandy has been running Yoga & Mindfulness retreats in China since 2017. She takes participants to secluded and beautiful retreat venues in nature. Once in retreat Mandy will facilitate you in a deep, unique and profound transformational journey; a journey that will positively impact your life long after you have said goodbye.
