Welcome to our first ever video version of the Bluer, celebrating the superb Spring Term enjoyed by Harrow Shanghai. It was a term filled with exploration, celebration, and of course, in the face of challenge, determination. Celebrating 450 years of 

Leadership in Education

本学期，哈罗450周年庆典在圣保罗大教堂正式启动，可持续项目在各个哈罗学校如火如荼地进行着。

哈罗上海的学子们以其精心研究、独具创意的可持续参赛作品，让哈罗上海脱颖而出，赢得了两次荣誉提名！

We initiated our 450-year celebration this term with a commemoration service at St. Paul’s Cathedral and a Sustainability 450 final held across all Harrow schools, where Harrow Shanghai was the only school to receive two honourable mentions for our well researched, creative submissions that solve real-world sustainability challenges.

体育运动

Sport

周末游泳训练营

哈罗体育精彩纷呈，日常的体育运动之外，学生们在上海校际游泳联赛和CISSA排球赛中展现了拼搏与勇气。在周末，哈罗学子也没有停下脚步，篮球、橄榄球、无板篮球、游泳...在各样体育运动中强身健体、提高技能。

We celebrate the spirit of courage in competition as our athletes competed in the Shanghai School Swimming League Competition and CISSA Volleyball. Students also had the opportunity to participate in additional sport programmes including Saturday Sport and Harrow Sunday Swim Academy.

领导力与服务

Leadership & Service 

在哈罗核心课程领导力与服务中，学生们践行领导力：为慈善筹集资金；发起大帮小活动；在网课期间还组织了许多趣味活动号召同学们积极参与。

Leadership & Service is a core component of our programme, as our students thrive on sharing and driving activities initiated by our Student Council, raising money to support charities, and teaching and mentoring others.

ECAs

课程之外，学生们有机会探索各种各样的课外活动。无论你是爱好运动、竞技的体育健儿；还是满脑子奇思妙想的科学家‍；无论你是用画笔勾勒魔法世界的艺术家‍；还是享受舞台聚光灯的表演者，都能在课外活动中找到自己的一方天地！  

Our Extra-curricular activities provide ample opportunities for our pupils to try everything to discover where their passions lie and to build confidence by participating in a variety of activities including dance, golf, equestrian and robotics. (to name a few)

学院大赛

House Competitions 

学院比赛

本学期，学校举办了许多学院大赛，涵盖了篮球、板凳球、躲避球和篮球等体育项目以及戏剧独白、 500 词短篇小说创作等等。所有同学们都全力以赴，为学院荣誉而战。最终，春季学期冠军为沙夫茨伯里学院！ 

Numerous house competitions were held across the school this term including sports (basketball, benchball and dodgeball), Inter-house monologues and a 500 word short-story competition. All pupils contributed to the revered send-ups competition. Congratulations to our Spring Term Champion -Shaftesbury!

Performing Arts 

音乐和戏剧表演一直是哈罗的一大亮点。每周定期上演的哈罗音乐达人秀；春节音乐会上荡气回肠的合唱与管弦乐齐奏；惟妙惟肖的个人与团体戏剧表演，让我们感受到了音乐与戏剧的独特魅力。 

Our music and drama performances continue to be a highlight here at Harrow, including beautiful voices reverberating our hall during our Chinese New Year concert, individual musical talents highlighted throughout the term, the united melodies played by our orchestra, and multiple individual and group drama performances.

家长社区

Our Parents

家长们作为社区的重要组成部分，也在哈罗留下了许多足迹。学校与家长代表和各委员会成员们积极沟通，征求反馈，并不断发展改进各类措施。哈罗之友齐聚一堂，规划校内活动，让整个社区变得更加紧密。家长们还积极参与各类主题的家长工作坊，以在学习和生活上，为孩子们提供更多支持。 

Our parents are a vital part of our community. We partner to solicit feedback and drive improvements through different committee and parent rep meetings. Our Friends of Harrow parents come together to plan and execute social events. Finally, we host regular workshops that our parents actively participate in.

Virtual Schooling

在春季学期接近尾声之时，突如其来的疫情让我们不得不重启线上学习。然而在居家授课的日子里，我们尽最大可能还原在校生活，提供及时的人文关怀，给学生们带来了充实而愉悦的学习体验，在非常时期亦能成就卓越。 

Near the end of term, we moved rapidly to our high quality virtual schooling programme, replicating a typical Harrow day on campus for the home environment to ensure that student life didn’t miss a beat. Our aim is to maintain all pupils’ academic progress and personal development despite the many challenges the strong community of Shanghai faces at this time. The Harrow programme is second to none!
