The Innovation | Virtual Collection—Magic Chemistry (v1) 化学专辑1.0

Introduction: The Innovation has published 158 articles from 2020 to 2021 (Figure 2). The authors come from 29 countries and articles belong to 9 categories (Figure 3), which have been cited by researchers from 78 countries (Source: Web of Science). The Innovation is a multidisciplinary journal covering all natural science fields. To facilitate readers to refer to articles in a specific field, Editorial Team integrates the contents from different Issues to make this Virtual Collection. The Innovation will change to bimonthly publishing in 2022 (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov).


引言:从2020到2021,The Innovation出版两卷七期共158篇文章(图2),作者来自29个国家。这些文章分布在9个栏目(图3),已被78个国家作者引用(数据源: Web of Science)。The Innovation是综合性英文期刊,发文内容涵盖所有自然科学领域。为方便读者查看出版的某领域文章,编辑部整合这两年不同刊次的相关内容,陆续推送Virtual Collection(虚拟专辑)……在本刊发表的文章,同时在微信公众号上进行“科普化解读”——尽可能让更多人懂得文章的主旨和亮点:传播科学知识,传承科学素养。自2022年起,The Innovation改为双月刊(出版月份:1、3、5、7、9、11)。

About Magic Chemistry (v1)

魔力化学1.0

Magic Chemistry: Mankind has discovered the properties of materials and the magic of their recombinations through chemistry. From atoms and molecules to all kinds of artificial materials, the wheels of civilization are rolling forward by chemistry. Nevertheless, what is the limitation of organic synthesis? How can chemistry help carbon neutrality? Is it possible to efficiently utilize renewable energy and solve pollution? Does chemistry need artificial intelligence? From synthetic new molecules to functional materials, from carbon neutralization to renewable energy, from chemical structure and evolution to human health, chemistry is derived from understanding nature and shows its magic in changing the future.

魔力化学:通过化学,人类发现了物质的性质及其重新组合的魔法。从原子、分子到各式各样的人造物质,文明的车轮因为化学而滚滚向前。有机合成分子的极限?化学如何助力碳中和?是否可以高效利用可再生能源来解决污染问题?化学的发展是否需要人工智能?从合成新分子到功能新材料,从助力碳中和到利用可再生能源,从化学结构和演变到人类健康,源于自然的认识,化学将继续展示其魔法,改变未来。本次虚拟专辑收录化学相关论文,包括:Editorial 3篇, Report 11篇,Review 5篇, Perspective 2篇, Commentary 4篇, Article 2篇,共计27篇。
