Hong Kong eases restrictions on overseas entry！Here We Come！
Not long ago, Hong Kong eased entry restrictions for non-Hong Kong residents from overseas. After the implementation of the quarantine policy in Hong Kong. More and more overseas people had returned to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong announced: From August 12th, for those who arrive in Hong Kong the airport from overseas and Taiwan, the hotel quarantine time will be shortened to 3 days and with the addition of 4 days of home medical monitoring will be required. However, they cannot enter the listed premises where the vaccine pass is subject to active review.

Be sure to fill in the "Hong Kong Department of Health Electronic Health Declaration Form" (www.chp.gov.hk/hdf, up to 3 days before arrival in Hong Kong). And save or print the QR code for the health declaration to facilitate registration Present it to the airline for verification during check-in. When entering through Hong Kong International Airport, the QR code is valid for 96 hours. If entering through a land control point, the QR code is valid for 24 hours.

Notes Before Arrival
Those Who Have Stayed Overseas
As flights are affected by various factors, please check with the relevant airport management agencies and/or airlines for the latest flight information.

Applicable Persons | Those who have stayed in any place outside China during the relevant period (i.e. the day of boarding/arrival or 14 days before) and who have completed the vaccination |
Boarding Requirements | 1. (Only applicable to those arriving in Hong Kong aged 3 or above) Certificate of negative result of PCR nucleic acid test for COVID-19 within 48 hours (or see relevant arrangements for recovered persons) 2. QR code for health declaration (including declaration of vaccination records). 3. Confirmation of booking for designated quarantine hotels for 3 nights from the date of arrival (if you have a pink health declaration QR code) |
Quarantine Requirements | 1. Compulsory quarantine for 3 nights in designated quarantine hotels 2. Accept rapid antigen test every day during the compulsory quarantine period 3. PCR nucleic acid test at designated quarantine hotels on the second day of arrival 4. Those who continue to test negative can complete the compulsory quarantine on the morning of the third day |
Medical Surveillance Requirements | 1. Receive medical surveillance at home or other self-arranged premises for 4 nights, during which period is restricted by "Vaccine Pass" and "Yellow Code" 2. Accept rapid antigen test every day 3. On the 4th and 6th day of arrival in Hong Kong, after obtaining the negative result of the rapid antigen test on the same day, accept the nucleic acid test 4. Those who continue to test negative will complete medical surveillance on the morning of the 7th day |
Self-monitoring Requirement | 1. Self-monitoring for the next 3 days; 2. Take the rapid antigen test every day until the 10th day of arrival in Hong Kong 3. On the 9th day of arrival in Hong Kong, after obtaining the negative result of the rapid antigen test on the same day, accept the nucleic acid test |
* The number of days of arrival in Hong Kong shall be counted from the day of arrival as the zeroth day.
