《植物人艺术唤醒项目》由艺术家吴超、夏维伦发起，自2014年开始至今，串联医学、科学、心理学、宗教、音乐治疗和艺术，构建生命力研究共同体。共同探讨人类最精微的意识问题，希望呈现出一种“文明的整体性”，一个没有学科偏见的意识光谱。
已在广州军区总医院等2间建立医院艺术唤醒室（广州、燕郊），已完成共性化唤醒方案库50条，超过200人次植物人唤醒使用。已完成个性化唤醒3例植物人。
The Project of Awakening Vegetative Patients via Artistic Stimulationswas sponsored by Chao WU and Weilun XIA in 2014. The project involves disciplines of medicine, science, psychology, religion，music therapy and art to establish The Life/Vitality Study Unity who has been exploring the most sophisticated human issue—consciousness. We hope to create a ‘civilized unity’, a consciousness spectrum without subject prejudice.
2 Artistic Awakening rooms have been established at General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Region (in Guangzhou and Yanjiao). 50 generalized awakening programs have been completed, and been practiced on over 200 vegetative patients.3 vegetative patients have been awakened by individualized awakening programs.

声音剧《记忆之尘》，以声音的方式，唤醒人们对生命生活最初的记忆。它同时也是艺术项目《植物人艺术唤醒项目》新的共性化唤醒方案，它用日常的声音引发意识障碍患者主动意识活动——回忆和想象声音背后的情景，并配以简单而生动有趣的画面，使患者更容易集中注意力。
《记忆之尘》共有三部，本次展第一、二部。第一部《晨起》，用早晨、春天和孩童的声音与意象来呈现生命的初起；第二部《日盛》用上班路上、办公室、学校等热闹纷繁的视听元素来体现生命的繁盛；最后一部《夜安》则通过蟋蟀声、星空等给人带来安宁休憩，与宇宙融合回归的感受。
The dust of memory contains three parts. The exhibition contains first, second parts. The first part"morning rise" presents the beginning of life with the sound and image of the morning, spring and children; the second part"Sunshine" embodies the prosperity of life with the busy and noisy elements of the road, the office, the school and so on. The last part"night" brings peace and rest to people through crickets, stars and so on, and integrates with the universe into a feeling of return.
7月8日，吴超与夏维伦在“M的房间”呈现共同创作的艺术项目《意识共生》。他们将带来这几年从事《植物人艺术唤醒项目》的大量文献资料，包括一些笔记本以及与项目有关的卡片。界时会邀请到场嘉宾，抽取自己感兴趣的一部分文献资料，进行交流与讨论。
这是一个跨学科的艺术项目，涉及医学、心理学、佛学等多方面的知识。艺术家吴超和夏维伦根据这几年的艺术实践，一直尝试如何使用艺术手段跨越知识和实践的障碍，进行跨学科合作。并积极号召更多艺术家参与到在北京一系列的“意识共生”的项目中来，通过大家不断地学习和思考，结合现实中遇到的问题，来完善和丰富“意识共生”的课题。
开幕现场会放映艺术家最新创作的声音剧《记忆之尘》，到场嘉宾将切身体验艺术家创作的视听艺术带给人身心层面的影响。
On July 8 th, Wu Chao and Xia Weilun presented a co-creative art project, <Symbiosis of consciousness>., in the "M'room". They will bring with them a wealth of literature over the past few years on the The Project of "Awakening Vegetative Patients via Artistic Stimulationswas sponsored", including notebooks and project-related cards. Guests will be invited to exchange and discuss some of the literature they are interested in.
This is a cross-disciplinary art project involving medical, psychological, Buddhist and other aspects of knowledge. Based on the artistic practice of the past few years, artists Wu Chao and Xia Weilun have been trying to use artistic means to cross the barriers of knowledge and practice and to carry out interdisciplinary cooperation.And actively call on more artists to participate in a series of "Symbiosis of consciousness" projects in Beijing, through continuous learning and thinking, combined with the problems encountered in reality, to improve and enrich the "consciousness symbiosis" topic.
At the opening of the concert, the artist's latest voice drama "dust of memory" will be screened. The guests will experience first-hand the influence of the artist's audio-visual art on the physical and psychological aspects of the artist's creation.

吴超，硕士毕业于法国南锡国家高等艺术学院，安纳西国际动画节和荷兰国际动画节终评委。夏维伦，硕士毕业于法国南锡高等商学院。
他们的作品曾获华宇青年奖评委会大奖、北京独立影像展实验创新奖等30多个国内外奖项，曾在法国安纳西城堡美术馆，上海民生美术馆，美国Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum等国内外上百个展览。曾在法国Fontevraud，站台中国艺术中心艺术驻留。《植物人艺术唤醒项目》获得腾讯公益、爱佑未来慈善基金会、新世纪当代艺术基金会、杨锋艺术和教育基金会和众多各界朋友支持。
Chao Wu eceived her master’s degree at the National School of Art of Nancy in France. Chao Wu is jury of Annecy Animation Festival and Holland Animation Festival. Weilun Xia received her master’s degree at the National School of Business of Nancy in France.
Their works were exhibited at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum in USA, Annecy Chateau Museum in France, Guangdong Museum of Art, , Minsheng Art Museum, etc. THey has won some thirty awards at Mainland China and abroad, including the Jury Award from the 2014 Huayu Youth Award, the Experimental Innovation Awards from the 2013 Beijing Independent Film Festival. Many collectors at mianland China and abroad collected their works. And New Century Art Foundation, Huayu Youth Art Award, Yangfeng Art and Education Fund, Youmi Finance, and many people in the Arts supported The Project of Awakening Vegetative Patients Via Artistic Stimulations. They were in residence at Platform Beijing Art Center in 2017 and at Fontevraud France in 2015.
