The Innovation为季刊，2020年出版三期（2020-05-21、2020-08-28、2020-11-25）。为整合不同刊次的特定领域内容，陆续推出Virtual Collection（虚拟专辑），并在后续发文基础上持续整合----从Version 1到Version 2, 3……方便读者查看本刊发表的特定领域相关内容。本刊发表的文章将在微信公众号上进行“科普化”解读----尽可能让更多人懂得文章主旨和亮点：传播科学知识，传承科学素养。本次推送“新冠专辑 (Version 1)”。另，2021年The Innovation出版月份为：2月、5月、8月、11月。

本期封面主题：新冠病毒。它已造成全球近6000万人感染，近140万人死亡，给人类社会投下挥之不去的阴影。本期封面以科学艺术的手法展现新冠病毒对肺部的入侵，藉以祭奠所有被新冠肺炎夺去的生命。我们坚信唯有科学的发展，技术的创新，才是冲破黑暗和空间的光亮。祈愿这个世界在可持续发展的理念指导下，变得越来越美好。
