I’ve always been fascinated by how people behave

我对人的行为很有兴趣

Why they behave in a certain way

他们为什么会做出某种行为

And how often they are very unaware of

他们做某个行为的频率可能自己意识不到

how their behaviours affect other people

自己的行为如何影响了别人

The goal of my research is to make the workplace

我的研究目标要是让职场变成一个

a happier and healthier place for people to work

让人能开心和健康地工作的地方

For example, one of the areas I look at is workplace incivility

比方我的一项研究是职场的不文明行为

How people treat each other

比如职场人士如何对待彼此

and how that affects their morale

这会对团队士气有怎样的影响

their intentions to stay in the organisation

雇员在机构工作的意愿

and even their personal health

还有他们的个人健康情况

Those are the things that I care about

这些都是我关心的问题
